NAHRA Fall One Day Hunt Test

• 

  Come challenge your novice and intermediate level hunting dogs to meet the North American Hunting Retriever Association hunt test standards for Started, Hunter, or Intermediate. There will be no high-level stake at this one-day event.  Assess your dog’s hunting skills for upland and watermarks.  One dog is limited to one stake.
  
  

• Started – Five single marked retrieves with a minimum of two each on land and water.  Can steady your dog at the line and bird delivery to hand is not a requirement (just return it to the point of origin).
• Hunter – Double marks on land and water, and a trailing test with the dog being  steady and delivering birds to hand.
•  Intermediate - Double marks on land and water, a land and water blind, upland quarter, and a trailing test with the dog being steady and delivering birds to hand. Marking tests may include a walk-up and/or a diversion.
